Outdoor Magnet Care Instructions and Disclaimer

The magnetic side of the product must be applied to a metal alloy surface. Many modern vehicles are made with more plastic than metal, which may prevent a magnet from sticking to the intended surface. To ensure maximum adhesion, magnets should reach room temperature prior to application to the metal surface. Prior to affixing the magnet to a vehicle or other outdoor surface clean the area with mild detergent and wipe with a soft cloth or allowing it to dry. Be certain that paints, clear coats and waxes are cured. Make sure the entire magnet is flat against the metal surface. Do not place over protrusions (molding, decals, pin striping, etc.) or concave areas. Ensure there are no air pockets. For optimal care, we recommend removing and cleaning the magnet and the surface to which it will be adhered to every week, as well as after exposure to rain, snow, or ice. Magnets must be removed prior to washing the vehicle. There is no warranty expressed or implied against loss of magnets or damage to vehicle surfaces, as the factory has no control over how magnets are cared for, altered, stored, and/or used, or the surface to which the magnets are applied. The lifespan of outdoor promotional magnets depends on factors such as the quality of the materials, the environment, and how well they are maintained. Generally, high-quality outdoor magnets can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years when exposed to weather conditions. However, regular cleaning and proper care such as removing the magnet in extreme weather or after rain fall can help extend their lifespan. Magnets that are left on vehicles for long periods without maintenance may experience fading, loss of adhesion, or damage to both the magnet and the surface it's applied to.
