We have designed effective lockdown magnetic strips printed with easy-to-use instructions. Our lockdown magnets enable employees to lock a classroom door lightning FAST without any keys. Easy 1-2-3 Instructions printed directly on the Lockdown magnetic Strip: Step 1) Lock the Door; Step 2) Cover the latch plate with the LOCKDOWN Magnetic Strip; Step 3) Keep Door Locked, Open and Close Door with Magnetic Strip in place. We can accept your art in virtually any format. The following is a guideline for customers that have prepared art. If you do not have finished art, please contact us and our designers will put together a magnet design that meets your needs.
Guidelines:
- The preferred file type is .AI, .PS, PDF, .EPS or any other editable format. JPEG's are acceptable but must be 300 dpi and fit to our printing specifications.
- Please ensure that no text, logos or essential images are placed within 1/8 of an inch from the cut edge of your magnet.
- Please convert all colors to CMYK
- Please convert all fonts to curves/outlines
- All bitmaps (JPG etc) should be supplied at a resolution of no less than 300 dpi to achieve the best print quality.
- You will always receive a proof for your approval before going into production. We will work with you until you get exactly what you want.
Outdoor Magnet Care Instructions and Disclaimer
The magnetic side of the product must be applied to a metal alloy surface. Many modern vehicles are made with more plastic than metal, which may prevent a magnet from sticking to the intended surface. To ensure maximum adhesion, magnets should reach room temperature prior to application to the metal surface. Prior to affixing the magnet to a vehicle or other outdoor surface clean the area with mild detergent and wipe with a soft cloth or allowing it to dry. Be certain that paints, clear coats and waxes are cured. Make sure the entire magnet is flat against the metal surface. Do not place over protrusions (molding, decals, pin striping, etc.) or concave areas. Ensure there are no air pockets. For optimal care, we recommend removing and cleaning the magnet and the surface to which it will be adhered to every week, as well as after exposure to rain, snow, or ice. Magnets must be removed prior to washing the vehicle. There is no warranty expressed or implied against loss of magnets or damage to vehicle surfaces, as the factory has no control over how magnets are cared for, altered, stored, and/or used, or the surface to which the magnets are applied. The lifespan of outdoor promotional magnets depends on factors such as the quality of the materials, the environment, and how well they are maintained. Generally, high-quality outdoor magnets can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years when exposed to weather conditions. However, regular cleaning and proper care such as removing the magnet in extreme weather or after rain fall can help extend their lifespan. Magnets that are left on vehicles for long periods without maintenance may experience fading, loss of adhesion, or damage to both the magnet and the surface it's applied to.
